My genius friend

So to make this SPECIAL meal for Frank, we had to mix both ingredients and bake them. After opening almost every cupboard and digging in the pantry, we finally found where Mom kept the blender.

Now how should we blend these items together?

‘Should we chop the carrot and the cake into smaller pieces before we blend it?’ Slimey asked.

‘Nah. It’s a blender, it’s meant to blend things… right?’ I replied, chucking the cake and the carrots straight in.

WHIIIIIIRRRRR.

WHIIRRR. WHIIIR. WHRRRRR.

CLUNK. CLUNK.

BOOM!

Slimey was right… we should’ve cut up the carrot and cake into smaller pieces. Now, there was cake and carrot all over the ceiling… Lucky Mom had just dirtied the ceiling last week. After I scraped it off, you could barely see we had added to the mess.

‘The next step is to bake our marvelous creation!’ Slimey said.

It was a little faster since all the cupboards were already open, but it still took us a while to find a pan to put our carrot and cake mix in.

Now, how did an adult mob turn on an oven?

We finally worked out which knob turned the oven on… but how high should the temperature be?

‘Well, if we set it to the highest temperature, it’ll cook FASTER, right?’ I suggested.

‘Sounds LEGIT,’ Slimey nodded. So I twisted the knob to the highest setting and we slid the cake in.

We decided to give the mixture ten minutes to cook in the oven… which meant we definitely had time to play one PVP match on the computer together.

But one match quickly turned into twenty matches. That was when we smelled smoke…

‘THE CARROT CAKE!’ Slimey and I shouted, and we dropped our controllers and ran into the kitchen.

Uh oh.

THE CAKE WAS ON FIRE!

And then with a WHOOSH, the oven caught on fire!

WHAT WERE WE GONNA DO?

Slimey and I just looked at each other…

Then Mom came charging into the kitchen with a fire extinguisher and sprayed the fire.

FOOOSSSSHHH!

‘Mobs, what did you do?’ asked Mom angrily. ‘Outside, both of you!’

UH OH. Mom looked like her face was on fire. The angry type of fire.
